AS Roma Announce Fendi Partnership
AS Roma have announced a new partnership with Italian fashion house FENDI, who will provide the team with an official off-pitch wardrobe for for the next two years.
Roma Announce Fendi Deal
In another move that demonstrates the ever increasing amalgamation of football and fashion, the partnership sees two Roman giants from different worlds come together while representing their city. The clothing created by FENDI will be worn by the players when travelling to matches both in Italy and abroad during the 22-23 and 23-24 seasons.
Silvia Venturini Fendi, artistic director of menswear and accessories at FENDI, has designed casual and formal wear for the squad with FENDI's values of tradition and innovation in mind. An elegant dark blue is the principal colour, with Roma's colours of yellow and red of course also appearing. All materials used will be made in Italy.
Totti and De Rossi model the club's 12-13 range by Philipp Plein.
Roma previously had a similar deal with Swiss-German designer Philipp Plein, and will not be the first club to sign with a high fashion brand in the last few years. Some of their rivals have similar partnerships, such as Inter with Moncler, Juventus with Loro Piano and AC Milan with Harmont&Blaine. With the Italian reputation for style and being generally cool, it is quite fitting that these Serie A clubs have such agreements in place. Could English, German or Spanish clubs pull it off as well? Probably not.

Nike Brazil 2028 Copa America Concept Kit
Following the leak of the Nike 28-29 template, Brazilian kit designer [@felipesilva_dg](https://Sheffield Wednesday) has imagined how the new design could look for the Brazil 2028 Copa America home kit. The concept adapts the leaked template, which was initially showcased in the England Euro 2028 concept, to create a fresh take on the iconic national team shirt.
The Brazil 2028 Copa America concept kit features the traditional yellow base but incorporates a significantly increased amount of blue on the main shirt. This design choice draws inspiration from recent trends seen in the Brazil women's team kits, offering a striking contrast to the more conventional yellow-dominant designs. The new paneling and layout flexibility of the Nike 28-29 template allow for these prominent blue accents to be integrated seamlessly into the overall design.
While this is strictly a fan concept and not an official leak of Brazil's next kit, it provides an interesting glimpse into the possibilities of Nike's upcoming template. The 2028 Copa America is still a couple of years away, but the anticipation for how national teams will utilize the new Nike 28-29 design language is already building.
