Yesterday, the new Crystal Palace 2022-23 home shirt by Macron got officially launched, and many kit aficionados quickly pointed out that it does look similar to the away shirt of Croatian team Hajduk Split from last season. Let us find out what this is all about.

The Crystal Palace 22-23 home shirt reinterprets classic red and blue stripes through the means of all-over brushstroke stripes, but this approach is not new at all.

In fact, Hajduk Split received a very similar-looking kit last season. It was mainly blue with light blue and red brushstroke stripes on the front and sleeves. In both cases, a simple crew-neck collar and white sponsor logos complete the modern appearance.

Funnily enough, Scottish Championship team Dundee FC received a new away jersey for the upcoming season, which features the exact same brushstroke stripes apart from the colours used.
