We see countless standard teamwear designs come and go for smaller clubs each season. Sometimes a teamwear design might really suite them, other times the design does not fit them at all.
This is the reason for occasional customization being added by either the club or the middle man between them and the supplier brand. A good example of this middle man are 11teamsports, who outfit various German teams, including some in the Bundesliga.
Today, we wanted to highlight the extremely unique teamwear designs that Turkish second division side Genclerbirligi received last week.

Gençlerbirliği 22-23 Anniversary Kit
This is the new Nike Gençlerbirliği SK anniversary shirt for 2022-2023.
The Nike Gençlerbirliği 2022-2023 anniversary jersey celebrates 100 years since the club was founded on March 14, 1923. It features countless intricate details on a red base, such as a map of the province of Ankara and many landmarks like the Atatürk mausoleum.
No main sponsor logo appears on the kit, with a special club crest and Nike Swoosh in gold. A special golden badge depicting the number 100 adorns the bottom right of the shirt.
The anniversary kit is in fact based on Nike's Park VII teamwear option, one that is known for being as simple as a design can get. Gençlerbirliği received so many custom elements that the template underneath is hardly recognizable.
Gençlerbirliği 22-23 Away Kit
This is the Gençlerbirliği SK 2022-23 away shirt, made by Nike.
The Nike Gençlerbirliği 22-23 away shirt showcases the regular club crest with '100' written underneath in black. A white base is combined with a central stripe consisting of red surrounded by black. The subtle graphic pattern on the front is inpsired by one of the windows in the Atatürk mausoleum.
White shorts and socks complete the new Nike Gençlerbirliği 22-23 away strip.
Gençlerbirliği 22-23 Third Kit
This is the Gençlerbirliği 2022-2023 third jersey, made by Nike.
Mainly black, the Nike Gençlerbirliği SK 2022-2023 third shirt features the same centenary crest as the anniversary kit. The same window graphic from the away shirt is applied to the front, while Nike's logo and the sleeve cuffs come in gold.
Black shorts and socks complete the new Nike Gençlerbirliği 22-23 third strip.
The away and third shirts are both based on the Nike Park VII template as well, taking a clean slate and making the most out of it.

Como 1907 Officially Reveal 26-27 Away Kit
Como 1907 has officially unveiled its new 26-27 away kit, produced by Adidas. The official announcement follows an early leak when midfielder Lucas Da Cunha was spotted wearing the shirt while signing autographs during the club's pre-season trip in the United Kingdom.
The Adidas Como 26-27 away jersey features a white base paired with dark blue details across the collar, sleeve cuffs, and classic three stripes on the shoulders. Giving the shirt a retro feel, it features the iconic Adidas Trefoil logo on the right chest opposite the club's crest, with Revolut taking position as the main front sponsor.
Set to make its debut in a pre-season fixture against Arsenal, the new away kit is already on sale at official physical retail locations and will be released on the club's online store soon.
Dortmund 26-27 Away Kit Leaked
Official photos of the Borussia Dortmund 26-27 away kit have appeared online, showcasing Puma's stealthy new design for the club's upcoming campaign. The shirt is built around a dark anthracite and black base, giving BVB a sleek look away from home. Big thansk to @KamilBerberler.
The jersey's defining feature is an all-over tonal abstract lightning bolt graphic woven into the fabric. Adding a touch of classic detail, Puma has included a buttoned collar with white contrast inserts at the back, paired with matching white trim on the sleeve cuffs. The BVB crest and Puma cat logo stand out in vibrant yellow, with the Vodafone sponsor logo placed prominently across the chest.
The full kit is completed with matching black shorts and black socks featuring white cuff details and yellow BVB 09 text.
