The New Venezia? - Gorgeous Athens Kallithea 22-23 Home & Away Kits Released
Greek second division club Athens Kallithea 1966 have revealed their new home and away kits, and they have taken more than one leaf out of Venezia FC's book in the process.

There is a good reason for the resemblance between the aesthetic of these kits and those of Venezia FC. Aside from the fact they are both made by Kappa and have simplistic but luxurious styling, they were both designed by the German design agency, Bureau Borsche.

This is not by coincidence either, but thanks to the work of Ted Philipakos at both clubs. Formerly CEO and now Chief Marketing Officer of Venezia, he is also president of the Athens club and was one of the founders of creative agency Fly Nowhere. His input and decision making on the creative side of things behind the scenes has played a major part in Venezia's rise from relative unknowns to one of the coolest clubs in the world.
It seems Philipakos is applying the tried and tested Venezia formula to Athens Kallithea. Similarly classy shirts and launches akin to fashion shoots aside, they have adopted a whole new visual identity. The Greek side have updated their badge to a golden letter-based version, redesigned their website in the exact style of Venezia's (both also the work of Bureau Borsche) and launched sleek, carefully-curated social media accounts.
Philipakos has the experience, know-how, and the contacts and to turn a "small" club into one that punches well above its weight, at least in the marketing department. In Venice and Athens, he has two of the most culturally and historically rich cities in the world to draw inspiration from and work into the clubs' respective narratives and design stories. Athens Kallithea 22-23 Home Kit
This is the Athens Kallithea 22-23 home jersey, made by Kappa.
The Kappa Athens Kallithea 2022-2023 football shirt is navy with a white polo collar. Gold and white rings around the ends of the sleeves are complemented by navy and gold trim on the tip of the collar, both of which match the Kappa logo and modernised club badge.
A gold Kappa Omini logo is also placed on each shoulder of the Athens Kallithea 2022-2023 football shirt.

The Kappa Athens Kallithea 2022-23 away jersey is white with a solitary navy stripe down the middle, which itself has a thin gold line running down its centre. This colour combo is recreated on the round neck collar and cuffs in the same fashion.
Once again, Kappa's logo and the club badge are gold on the Kappa Athens Kallithea 22-23 away football shirt, with an Omini logo on each sleeve.

Aston Villa 26-27 Third Kit On Sale Early in Adidas Store
Aston Villa's 26-27 third kit has gone on sale early at an official Adidas store in Tenerife ahead of its official launch.
Photos shared by supporter @squirrelvilla confirmed that the complete strip was available to buy in Playa De Las Americas, giving fans an early look at the new shirt and matching shorts in hand.
The Adidas Aston Villa 26-27 third shirt features a light icy blue base covered in an elaborate, repeating swirl pattern across the front and sleeves. Claret detailing highlights the crew neck collar, sleeve cuffs, and signature Three Stripes, while both the centered Adidas logo and Aston Villa crest sit prominently on the chest. The version bought in store was sold without a main front sponsor.
FC Penafiel 26-27 Home Kit Released
Portuguese Liga 2 club FC Penafiel has officially launched its new home kit for the 26-27 season, produced by Nike. The release heralds a new kit deal for the club, leaning into a classic aesthetic that honors their traditional Rubro-Negro identity.
The Nike FC Penafiel 26-27 home jersey is predominantly red, styled with a contrasting black polo collar and open v-neck cut. Adding to the retro design, the club badge is set within a dark circular crest frame on the left chest, accompanied by a black Nike Swoosh and white Abanca sponsorship branding across the chest.
The FC Penafiel 26-27 home shirt is available now through the club's official webshop, priced at €59.99.
Nigeria Women Update Crest With 10 Stars
At the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), defending champions Nigeria featured a special detail on their shirts: 10 stars added above their crest. The "Super Falcons" had never worn stars on their kits in previous WAFCONs.

Chelsea 26-27 Away Kit Debuted
Chelsea have officially debuted their new 26-27 away kit during their pre-season friendly against Tottenham Hotspur at Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia. Made by Nike, the new change strip features a solid black base paired with Midwest Gold trim, marking the club's return to a predominantly black away design.
The shirt features a minimalist standalone gold lion crest on the chest, replacing the full traditional club badge. Gold piping traces the shoulder seams and side panels, while an intricate gold laurel wreath graphic borders the collar and sleeve cuffs to match design elements on Chelsea's 26-27 home kit.
