Update: Adidas have officially unveiled the brand-new X Speedportal Leyenda Messi 2022 World Cup boots, confirming our earlier update about their release date (November 22nd).

Update: Official pictures of the Adidas Messi 2022 World Cup boots have appeared on the Adidas.co.nz store (via @best_resena). The official name of the cleats is Adidas X Speedportal Leyenda.1. They will be available to buy from November 22nd, 2022 and retail at EUR 280 (USD 275; GBP 230).
Update: Messi has been spotted wearing his gold Adidas X Speedportal 2022 World Cup signature football boots in the first training session with Argentina ahead of the 2022 World Cup. We expect Adidas to launch Messi's boots as a strictly limited edition soon.
Update: We can leak more pictures of the Adidas Messi 2022 World Cup signature soccer cleats. They better show off the design of the outstep - is the same as for regular colorways of the modern Adidas X Speedportal boots.
The 2022 World Cup is Lionel Messi's fifth and possibly last World Cup appearance. He played his first World Cup in 2006, in Germany.

The Adidas X Speedportal Leyenda Messi 2022 World Cup boots are inspired by the Adidas F30 boots worn by Messi in the 2006 World Cup. Instead of a white upper, the new X Speedportal Messi 2022 World Cup boots have a gold upper.

As Messi did wear the F30 "takedown" cleats and not the top-tier F50+ Tunit, the Adidas X 2022 cleats from the Messi 2022 World Cup pack feature the number F30.
Indeed, the design and concept of the Messi 2022 World Cup cleats are very similar to the Adidas Messi 2021 Copa America signature boots, called "El Retorno".
In terms of tech, the Messi 2022 World Cup Adidas X Speedportal soccer cleats are identical to the regular colorways. Messi, of course, will wear his preferred modified version with a burrito tongue and a custom upper.

Raúl Asencio steps into the No. 2 shirt previously worn by Dani Carvajal, while new signing Dean Huijsen takes over No. 4 from David Alaba. Endrick also returns to the No. 9 after his loan spell at Marseille.
Among the new arrivals, Ibrahima Konaté will wear No. 16, Marc Cucurella No. 17, Carlos Espí No. 19, Denzel Dumfries No. 24 and Yan Diomande No. 25. Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva will continue wearing No. 20 following Fran García's departure. The number is closely associated with the Portuguese midfielder's most successful years at Manchester City.

No More Nike: Adidas Croatia 2026 Training Kits Revealed
Following their switch from Nike to Adidas, Croatia's new training kit set for 2026 have been unveiled in the latest training camp for youth teams' goalkeepers.
However from what we've seen, both of the new jerseys are simply from Adidas Tiro 26 League template range, using default black and grey color choices. These are very likely just temporary options for the mean time, until the actual designs with probably bespoke colorways are officially released.
