'Mint Foam' Chelsea 23-24 Third Kit Released - Inspired by First-Ever Kit

Chelsea this morning launched their new Nike 2023-24 third kit, confirming the earlier leaks. The new Chelsea 23-24 third kit features a prominent mint colorway, which is a nod to two kits from different eras in Chelsea's past.

The Nike Chelsea FC 2023-2024 third shirt is mint green, more specifically 'Mint Foam'. The accent color is black. A light grey color shade is used for graphic detailing.

The first source of inspiration is the Eton Blue, worn by the earliest Chelsea players. It originated from the racing colors of the club president and was a lighter shade compared to the traditional Chelsea blue. The second influence comes from the 'jade' hue away kit of 1986/87, which was a significant part of Chelsea's kit history.

In terms of design, the Nike Chelsea 2023-24 third football shirt is modern. It is based on the same template that is used for Nike's other 'Elite' third kits, including Inter Milan and Barcelona.

Mint green shorts and socks complete the new Chelsea third kit.
