Selangor FC 2023 Home Kit Released- Inspired by Shah Alam Stadium

The new Selangor FC home jersey was released this weekend. It is made by Joma and will be worn in the 2023 Malaysia Super League.

Selangor's new kit is quite special as it is inspired by the Red Giants' iconic Shah Alam Stadium.

The Joma Selangor FC 2023 home shirt still has the club's main color, red, as its base, but with the addition of a sand color as an homage to their soon-to-be former home ground, the Shah Alam. The iconic stadium will be demolished and replaced by a new one. The construction phase starts in early 2023 and is expected to finish in 2026.

Remembering their iconic stadium further, the Joma Selangor FC 2023 home shirt has a small drawing of the Shah Alam on the back, along with text describing the stadium's location and its active years (1994-2022).

Moreover, another interesting detail from the home shirt is the squared-shaped embossed wave motif pattern on the front and back.

The Joma Selangor FC 2023 home shirt was officially presented at the club's meet and greet session on Sunday. The club are eager to get their fans to enjoy the new kit, while reminiscing about the good times at Shah Alam stadium.
