No Sponsor for Now: Schalke Sponsorship Deal Fell Through
Update: After almost having the contract signed, the deal with Hydrogen Deutschland fell through and Schalke is still looking for a main sponsor, according to Reviersport.de.
The company is said to have been willing to pay Schalke seven million euros for sponsorship per season and both parties negotiated a three-year contract.
However, after internal consideration, Schalke decided not to enter into the deal with Hydrogen. Also because the young company is not yet sufficiently structured to represent a big club like Schalke, reports stated. According to the company's website, the company plans to invest 550 million euros in a hydrogen ecosystem in Germany, but Hydrogen has only three permanent employees so far.
However, a future partnership between Hydrogen and Schalke is not entirely out of the question, as a future partnership is conceivable, even possibly as early as the start of the second division season, but not as a main sponsor.
Update: After being relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, Schalke will have a new main sponsor in the 2023-2024 season. According to "Sky", "Hydrogen Deutschland" will adorn the Knappen's chest. We have imagined how the logo could look on Schalke's leaked 23-24 kit.
Schalke 23-24 Kit x New Main Sponsor Hydrogen Deutschland
Hydrogen Deutschland are a company from the region, with their headquarters being located in Hamm, Westphalia - 60 km away from the club's stadium in Gelsenkirchen.
Previous shirt sponsor MeinAuto.de (a car-buying portal) are now apparently stepping back into the second tier. The company promised to remain loyal to the Königsblauen in the second league. As it now turns out, however, this is related to the size of the sponsorship.

Schalke 23-24 Home Kit
The Adidas Schalke 2023-24 football shirt has a classy pinstripe design in two shades of blue. Indeed, the pinstripes design evokes memories of the Adidas Schalke 1990-1991 home kit. The jacquard pinstripes of the 23-24 season are a bit thinner than those of the 1990-1991 season.
Adidas combine the pinstripes look with white for the logos and navy for collar and sleeve cuffs detailing, plus the side/back panels.

Portuguesa 2026 Third Kit Released - Tribute to Portugal Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Brazilian club Associação Portuguesa de Desportos, commonly known as Portuguesa, has officially launched its new third kit for the 2026 season. Produced by technical sponsor Joma, the new uniform pays direct homage to the Portuguese national team, celebrating the club's deep historical roots as Portugal prepares to compete in the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
The new Portuguesa 2026 third jersey closely mirrors the classic look of the Portuguese national team, featuring a vibrant crimson red base enhanced by subtle jacquard detailing that provides a sense of movement to the fabric. The shirt is structured with a classic polo collar adorned with red and white edging and a green front point insert. The sleeves remain red with contrasting green underarm panels, while the cuffs match the collar's red and white trim.
Further solidifying the international tribute, the official coat of arms of Portugal is prominently displayed on the nape of the neck above the white player numbering. The alternative uniform is completed by green shorts and red socks, finalizing the classic Portuguese color scheme.
The kit is set to make its on-pitch debut this Saturday, May 16th, in a match against Água Santa.
Athletico Paranaense 26-27 Away Kit Released
Athletico Paranaense and Umbro have officially launched the Brazilian club's new away jersey for the 2026-2027 season. It will make its on-pitch debut in the Copa do Brasil against Atlético Goianiense.
The new Athletico Paranaense 2026-2027 away kit is white, with the traditional team colors prominently featured through a striking red and black gradient effect applied across the shoulders.
The uniform is further detailed with various subtle graphic elements referencing the history and symbols of the club, which are placed on the inside of the collar, the back hem, and within the custom numbering.
