FC Famalicão to Leave Macron?
- Supplier Change: FC Famalicão is ending its partnership with Macron and will be switching to a new apparel brand.
- Evidence of Change: The club's shop is having a stock-off sale on all Macron products and players are renewing contracts while wearing the clubs own clothing lines rather than the current home shirt.
- Potential New Supplier: Puma is a possibility due to their recent sponsorship of the Primeira Liga and desire to increase their brand awareness in Portugal.
FC Famalicão is set to leave its current supplier, Italian manufacturer Macron, to join another brand. Footy Headlines has not been able to confirm which brand the Portuguese team is joining, but looking at the club's recent social media posts, the change is evident.
Firstly, the biggest evidence is the stock-off promotion for all Macron items in the club shop.

Secondly, the club has been renewing several players' contracts, without the current season's home shirt, opting instead to use one of the club's own clothing lines.

Famalicão has been on a crescendo since the year they have been promoted, managing to establish themselves as a successful Primeira Liga club.
Not only that, their U-19 team managed to win the National Championship, beating the likes of Benfica, Sporting and Porto.
That coincides with the improvement in the club's training facilities, as shown below.
Given the fact that Puma is actively looking for assets in Portugal to increase its awareness in the country in line with the sponsorship of the Primeira Liga, it would not be weird to see them join Famalicão, but currently, it's no more than an educated guess.

RFEF Official Store AI Chatbot Recommends Fake Spain Jerseys
The official store of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has experienced an embarrassing glitch, as its AI-powered chatbot is reportedly advising fans to purchase counterfeit Spain national team jerseys instead of the official merchandise.
A viral post by X user @Free_y_thinker highlighted the issue, sharing a screenshot of the chatbot recommending a fake jersey as a better and cheaper alternative to the official kits. The post quickly gained massive traction with nearly a million views, prompting other users to share their own bizarre interactions with the shop.rfef.es AI, which included further recommendations for fakes, specific unauthorized sellers, and even seemingly random Python code. This incident highlights the potential pitfalls of implementing AI customer service without strict guardrails.

FC Twente 2026-27 Home Kit Released
FC Twente and Castore have officially unveiled the club's new home kit for the 2026-27 season. The launch follows a successful campaign that saw the team finish fourth in the Eredivisie and secure European football, with the club using the motto "We continue the line" for the new release.
The Castore FC Twente 2026-27 home shirt introduces a clean and traditional look in the club's classic red. Drawing direct inspiration from the legendary 2009-10 championship-winning season, the standout design feature is a subtle, thin vertical line pattern that runs across the entire shirt. Adding a local touch, the word 'Tukkers' is proudly incorporated into the collar, while various club-specific elements are embedded within the back numbers.
