Nottingham Forest 26-27 Third Kit Storytelling Exposed as Standard Adidas Template
Nottingham Forest and Adidas have officially unveiled the club's new 26-27 third kit, sporting a light blue and white colorway. Upon release, the club's official announcement stated that the flowing diagonal graphic across the front of the shirt is "inspired by the ripples of the River Trent." However, many fans quickly pointed out that the bespoke narrative doesn't quite match reality. Big thanks to @soccerjerseynws.
The dynamic, marbled streak graphic is actually a standardized Adidas template used across numerous clubs and national teams for the 26-27 season. Identical print patterns feature on kits for teams such as Granada, 1. FC Köln, Yokohama F. Marinos, and even San Marino via the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme, simply customized in different color combinations.
While template sharing is standard practice across major sportswear brands, clubs frequently attach localized storytelling to off-the-shelf graphics to make them feel unique to supporters. Despite the recycled design, the light blue palette creates a crisp, stylish aesthetic on the pitch for Forest's 26-27 campaign.
AS Saint Priest 26-27 Home Kit Released
French side AS Saint Priest have officially announced their new home kit, made by adidas and to be use in the upcoming National 1 season.
The new design uses a simple template from the German brand with yellow base and red/white pinstripes inbetween each other. The stripes are faded toward the top, leaving space for the centralised club crest and 3 sponsors. The adidas logo is in black, which go surprisingly well with the black outline of the crest.

Special Busan IPark 2026 Retro Kit Released
South Korean K League 2 side Busan IPark have officially unveiled a special retro collection in collaboration with Puma and Korean lifestyle label House of Nangman. Part of the “Heritage Project”, the release celebrates Busan’s first-ever FA Cup triumph in 2004, when the club lifted the trophy on Christmas Day.
The special Puma Busan IPark 2026 retro shirt draws inspiration from the 2004 kit, featuring a bold red and white quartered body with black raglan sleeves and a classic black polo collar. Gold HDC sponsor branding contrasts with white Puma logos, while a custom Busan IPark crest inspired by the city's maritime identity, including the sea and seagulls, completes the chest design.
A stitched “Heritage Project” jock tag and “낭만” (Nangman) lettering on the back neck add further character, while the collection is completed by a vintage-style zip track jacket featuring collaborative embroidered details.
