The new 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers sleeve badge builds on the new official 2026 World Cup logo, which contains a full-colored World Cup trophy with the number 26. However, for the Qualifiers badge, that effective look was disrupted.

The 2026 World Cup logo is contained within a rounded rectangle, which is then contained within another rectangle. This makes the logo tiny and difficult to recognize as the World Cup logo in most pictures.
Footy Headlines have created an alternative logo that frees up the trophy, resulting in a more impactful look.
