Lincoln City have announced that it will be bringing back their "Imp" shield, used during the 1980s and early 90s, for the 2024-2025 season and beyond.
Lincoln City to Bring Back Its 80s Shield in 2024-2025 Season
The decision to bring back the old crest came after the club consulted their fans, with 77.17% approving the change.
Interestingly, the retro shield takes on a more modern appearance than the current one, as seen when comparing their current kits with those of the 1980s.
The new old Lincoln City logo will debut on the 24-25 kits and used for all upcoming seasons.
