No 3rd Kit: Dortmund II Wears Red Teamwear Against Dresden Again
- Kit Clash: Dortmund II had to wear a red kit because their usual yellow and black kits clashed with Dresden's home kit.
- Teamwear Kit: Dortmund II wore a Puma Teamglory 24 teamwear kit, a step up from last season's keeper kit solution.
- Future Third Kit: A new, proper third kit is planned for the 2024-25 season, as Dortmund has not had one since 2020-21.
Borussia Dortmund's second team wore a "never-seen-before" red kit today against Dresden in the 3. Liga - let us find out why.
Dortmund Has No Third Kit - Second Team Wears Red Teamglory 24 Teamwear Kit
BVB had to wear a red kit due to a clash with Dresden's 23-24 home kit. BVB has only yellow and black kits this season, which both clash with Dresden's home kit.
Therefore, Dortmund was forced to wear a teamwear kit, as they did last season. Unlike last season, when Dortmund's players wore a keeper kit with long sleeves, this time, BVB and Puma were better prepared. They used the brand-new Puma Teamglory 24 teamwear kit, which is available with short sleeves.
A new third kit is on the way for the 24-25 season
BVB released a real third kit for the last time in the 2020-21 season. Footy Headlines already knows that a new real third kit is already on the way for the 2024-25 season.
Should Dortmund have an alternative kit to play against yellow teams? Do you look forward to the BVB 24-25 third kit? Let us know below.
