On Monday, SK Rapid Wien celebrated its 125th anniversary in style. Current players, managers, and legends were gathered at their own Allianz Stadium to look back on the club's history. To mark the occasion, the Hütteldorf (part of Vienna's 14th district) club released an anniversary jersey in the founding colors of red and blue.

This is the new Puma Rapid 125-year anniversary jersey for 2024.

The Puma Rapid 2024 125th anniversary football shirt replicates the look of the club's first-ever kit - it is half blue, half red.

Until 1906, Rapid's club colors were blue and red, before switching to green and white. For almost 90 years, the founding colors were hardly ever seen before they were revived by tradition-conscious fans and can now be seen regularly on away jerseys.

The Puma SK Rapid Wien 2024 125-year anniversary football shirt also bears the founding crest, which has been slightly adapted following a historical review.

Available since January 8, the Puma Rapid Wien 2024 125-year anniversary shirt retails at 100 euros, limited to just 1,899 shirts. It is sold out.

Despite the colors Rapid usually wears away from home, the jersey will be worn at a home game: the first official match of 2024, in the ÖFB Cup quarter-final against SKN St. Pölten on February 4th.
