Limited-Edition Metz 23-24 Fourth Kit Released - Designed by Local Artist

  • Collaboration: FC Metz partnered with local artist Paolo Del Vecchio and Kappa to create a limited-edition fourth kit.
  • Design: The kit is a paper-white design with logos and elements appearing as if drawn with a pencil, creating a "draft" aesthetic.
  • Limited Availability: The numbered, limited edition of 500 jerseys were sold for €149 and are now sold out.

French club FC Metz has partnered with visual artist Paolo Del Vecchio to create a unique jersey in collaboration with Kappa.

Paolo is a resident artist and a footballer who has created a unique shirt for each home game this season.

The Metz professional squad will wear the jersey against Olympique Lyonnais on February 23, 2024, at the Stade Saint-Symphorien.

Metz 23-24 Fourth Kit

This is the special-edition Metz kit.

The Kappa Metz 2023-24 fourth shirt is intended to look like a draft for a football shirt. It is paper white, with all logos and elements looking like being added with a pencil.

For us, it is surely an unusual look, but it does not perfectly work out at first glance.

LFP (Ligue 1 & Ligue 2) allows for a recolored league badge for the third time in history

The Kappa Metz 2023-24 fourth football shirt features a Ligue 1 Uber Eats badge in garnet color, which blends perfectly with the rest of the design. It is worth noting that since 2008, the LFP has only authorized two exemptions allowing clubs to wear a badge different from their regular one in Ligue 1 or Ligue 2 matches.

The Kappa FC Metz 2023-24 4th jersey was available to buy for €149 from the Official Online Store. The limited edition jersey, which is embroidered and numbered from 1 to 500, is sold out.

The shirt comes in a special box mimicking the boxes in which art is transported.

Argentina 4-Star Logo Leaked

The 4-star logo that was prepared for Argentina ahead of the 2026 World Cup final has been leaked. As Argentina ultimately lost the match to Spain, this updated crest will never be used.

Notably, the two central stars are intended to be slightly larger than the outer ones, creating a subtle arched visual effect. Every star features the year of the victory - including one for 26.

Had Argentina secured the victory, this new logo would have been immediately used on celebratory merchandise and future kits. Instead, the national team will continue with their current 3-star badge.

What a Disgrace: Adidas Uses AI For 2-Star Kit Images With Noteable Design Errors

Following Spain's victory at the 2026 World Cup, fans have rushed to the official Adidas Spain website to secure the updated two-star national team jersey. However, instead of using actual product photography for this historic release, Adidas.es has utilized an AI-generated image to showcase the new kit, resulting in highly noticeable design mistakes.

The AI-rendered images fail to accurately represent the actual Spain 26-27 kit, with several key details getting completely wrong. The most glaring issues include the iconic Three Stripes on the shoulders, which are rendered much smaller, like the old regular sized 3 stripes. The Adidas logo on the chest appears unusually small, closely resembling the brand's pre-2023 logo style rather than the current version.

For a monumental product celebrating Spain's second World Cup star, the reliance on inaccurate imagery falls well short of the usual standards expected from Adidas.

Spain 2-Star Crest Revealed: Side-by-Side Positioning

Following their victory at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Spain have earned the right to add a second star to their national team crest. The new star joins the one awarded for their 2010 triumph, marking the nation's second global title.

A detailed visual by Chuyện Áo Đấu provides a great look at the updated RFEF crest. The most important detail is the arrangement of the stars. Rather than stacking the second star above the original one, the two gold stars are positioned side-by-side directly above the traditional Spanish shield.

This side-by-side placement ensures a clean, symmetrical appearance for the crest. The updated two-star logo will become a permanent fixture on Spain's upcoming kits and apparel as they celebrate their status as two-time world champions.
