Fan Designed: Arminia Bielefeld 120th Anniversary Kit Released

Update: The fan-designed Arminia Bielefeld 120th anniversary kit was officially launched this morning, several months after the winning design was announced by the club.

Made by Macron, the new kit celebrates the club's founding on May 3rd, 1905. The Arminia Bielefeld 120th anniversary shirt will be worn against Dynamo Dresden on the anniversary itself, May 3rd (Matchday 36).

Arminia Bielefeld 24-25 Special Kit

The design draws inspiration from a kit worn by Arminia in 1965, reinterpreting it with a modern aesthetic. Visually, Bielefeld's 24-25 anniversary jersey features a clean white base color. A defining feature is the wide vertical stripe in the club's traditional blue, running down the center of front.

Integrated subtly within the blue stripe and across the white sections is a pattern comprised of historical Arminia Bielefeld logos, celebrating the club's rich past. DSC Arminia Bielefeld's 24-25 120th anniversary football shirt incorporates blue sleeves and a stylish blue V-neck collar, both accented with fine gold piping. Adding a celebratory touch, all logos on Bielefeld's 2024-25 anniversary shirt are rendered in a classy monochrome gold.

Designer Arthur expressed his satisfaction: "I'm very happy with the final kit. It was really fun to work on it together with the club... Arminia managed to realize my ideas about the details. My highlight is the logos, which were not just printed on, but embossed into the fabric."

The shirt is strictly limited to 1,905 pieces, referencing the club's founding year. It went on sale exclusively via the club's online store on April 14th, priced at €84.95.

Back in late September, 2024, Arminia Bielefeld announced the winning design for its 120th anniversary kit after a public vote of four designs that were shortlisted by the club. Out of nearly 500 entries from more than 250 designers, the winning submission won with 39.2% of the votes.

This is what Arthur had to say back then: "I'm so happy that my design won! Media creation and design have been a hobby of mine for a long time. As an Armine, I used to create Arminia graphics from time to time. In recent years, the club has used them several times. I'm particularly pleased that I've now also created the jersey for such an occasion. I'm curious to see whether the club will also be inspired by the other designs and whether one or two fans will see his design on the pitch in the future."

Arminia Bielefeld 120th Anniversary Kit Vote

Design 1: A classic dark blue kit with a subtle “120” integrated into the front graphic. It features the traditional logo and a gold flock on the back.

Design 2: A white kit with a blue center stripe, all-gold logos, and a subtle pattern of historic logos across both the front and back.

Design 3: White with a black, white, and blue hoop design on the front, centered logos, and gold-blue trim on the collar, cuffs, and hem.

Design 4: A dark blue kit with white collar and cuffs, triangular trim on the shoulders in white and black, and centered logos.
