This is the new Nike Alkmaar Zaansche windmills special football shirt for 24-25.
The Nike AZ 2024-2025 Zaansche windmills special football shirt is based on the standard black and white Nike Challenge V Teamwear shirt, with a distinctive white graphic of Zaansche windmills across the front, creating one of the most visually distinctive jerseys seen in Dutch football this season.
The Nike AZ 24-25 Zaansche windmills special football shirt commemorates nearly 100 years of history related to the preservation of traditional Dutch windmills. The graphic specifically depicts the oil mill "De Zoeker" in Zaandijk, which was saved from destruction after a severe storm. On March 17, 1925, Frans Mars founded the association "De Zaansche Molen," marking the beginning of organized protection for these historic landmarks.
Unlike most special jerseys these days, the Nike AZ 2024-2025 Zaansche Windmills special jersey is not available for retail purchase. Instead, the match-worn jerseys will be auctioned after the game, with all proceeds benefiting the AZ Foundation.
