This striped design is a nod to the popular kits from Rapid's past, notably the Diadora designs worn from 1996 to 1998, which are among the best-selling jerseys in the club's history. The new iteration aims to blend this classic look with modern touches.

The launch is accompanied by the motto "Backbone of the city, backbone of the club!" and a powerful presentation video. The video features everyday people who live and work in Vienna, shaping the city often behind the scenes, showcasing the new green and white outfit in their daily lives.
