Manchester United 1990 Snowflake Away Remake Kit
The original Manchester United 1990-92 away kit remake is a one-to-one reproduction, with no notable differences (except for the missing inner collar label and, possibly, a slightly off-white color). It features a striking and intricate blue and white sublimated design, which quickly earned it the "Snowflake" nickname. It was a bold departure at the time and has since become a cult classic.
This iconic "Snowflake" graphic has been a consistent source of inspiration for Adidas' design over the years. Examples include the 2015-16 third kit, the 2017-18 away kit, and even this season's 2024-25 away shirt, all of which draw from this heritage.
The original "Snowflake" away shirt holds a special place in the club's history. It was notably worn during Manchester United's successful 1991-92 League Cup campaign, including in the final where they triumphed 1-0 over Nottingham Forest at Wembley.
This upcoming remake follows the recent re-release from April 2025 of another classic from the same era, the Manchester United 1991 European Cup Winners' Cup final jersey, which was also part of the 1990-1991 season's lineup.
