The Nike Chelsea FC 26-27 home jersey combines Bright Blue with Midwest Gold, plus white. This means that a standard Chelsea blue is combined with a striking yellow.

It is the first time since the 2021-22 season that Chelsea uses yellow for a home shirt - exactly five years in 2026. It also marks 30 years since the first-ever Chelsea home kit with yellow logos was worn - 1995-1997.

Two elements let the Chelsea 26-27 kit stand out:

• First, the crest. The Chelsea 26-27 home kit features a yellow lion crest. This marks the first time in modern history that a Chelsea home kit does not use the modern logo.

• Second, the Chelsea 26-27 home kit has a subtle tonal pattern of the full crest that covers the entire fabric of the jersey.

Design-wise, the Nike Chelsea Football Club 26-27 home football shirt is simple and classic, based on the new Nike template that debuts for the 2026 World Cup.

As with the Chelsea 25-26 shirts, the Nike Chelsea 26-27 home shirt has been designed by a London-based designer, as a move by Nike to bring the design closer to the club and to include more fan feedback. A good idea, as designing all kits from the HQ in the USA sometimes has led to several unpopular Chelsea home shirts in recent years.
