According to early leaks, the Adidas Arsenal 2026-2027 third shirt is expected to be mainly gold with navy accents, and possibly small red details.
The colorway is a clear throwback to Arsenal’s iconic gold shirts from the early 2000s.
In the past, Arsenal have worn gold shirts on three occasions. First, the 2001-02 away shirt, which was carried over into the 2002-03 season as the third shirt. The last time Arsenal wore gold was the 2015-16 Puma away shirt.
Interestingly, none of these kits were made by Adidas.
The early 2000s shirts were made by Nike, while the 2015-16 version was designed by Puma. This means that if the rumors are true, the Adidas Arsenal 26-27 third shirt would be the first-ever Adidas Arsenal gold shirt since they became the club’s kit supplier in 2019.
