Adidas F50 Messi 2026 World Cup 'El Último Tango' Signature Boots Released

  • Signature Boots Release: Adidas officially launched the F50 Messi 2026 World Cup 'El Último Tango' signature boots on June 5, 2026, marking what is expected to be Lionel Messi's final appearance at the World Cup.
  • Inspiration and Naming: Inspired by the boots Messi wore at his first World Cup in 2006, this special edition is poetically named 'El Último Tango' (The Last Dance) to symbolize his final bow on football's biggest stage.
  • Design Aesthetic: The boots feature a new F50 silhouette with a predominantly clean white base, elegant sky blue patches, gold accents, and stylized, aggressive 'claw-like' Three Stripes, merging classic and cutting-edge design elements.

Update - Friday, June 5, 2026: Adidas has officially unveiled a special signature edition of the F50 Messi boots for his "last dance" at the 2026 World Cup. Inspired by the boots he wore at his first World Cup in 2006, this design is created for what is expected to be his final appearance on football's biggest stage.

Adidas also created a stunning launch campaign for Leo Messi. In the visuals, Messi stands in front of a giant screen that replays memories from his first World Cup in 2006, through the unforgettable moment when he led Argentina to World Cup glory in 2022, and finally toward what is expected to be the last World Cup of his career.

As the Argentine legend prepares for what will likely be his final bow on the world stage, Adidas has chosen a poetic and emotional name for the footwear: "El Último Tango" (The Last Dance).

Adidas F50 Messi 2026 World Cup 'El Último Tango' - White / Gold / Sky Blue

The new Adidas F50 Messi 2026 World Cup 'El Último Tango' signature boots introduce a stunning and completely fresh design language. The boots feature a predominantly clean white base, which is beautifully combined with elegant sky blue color patches and sweeping, curved lines inspired by the Argentina national team.

The iconic Gold is still present but will serve as a luxurious accent color, used alongside Sky Blue detailing to pay homage to the Albiceleste.

A major standout feature is the stylized execution of the Three Stripes. They are sharp, aggressive, and perfectly integrated into the upper, resembling a set of "claws." This gives the boots a highly refined yet incredibly powerful look.

This represents a brand-new silhouette from Adidas. It effectively acts as an 'F50.6 Future' concept, brilliantly merging the classic aesthetic of the 2006 World Cup era - Messi's very first World Cup - with the cutting-edge performance technology of 2026.

The color palette is somewhat reminiscent of the Adidas X Crazyfast Messi 'Las Estrellas', which was released in late 2023 to celebrate Argentina's triumph in Qatar.

Unlike his boots for the last three major tournaments, which featured gold as the dominant color, this new pair takes a different approach.

The new Adidas F50 Messi 2026 World Cup 'El Último Tango' signature boots are available on Friday, 5 June, 2026.
