Tottenham Hotspur have officially unveiled their 2026 Chinese New Year pre-match shirt, a special-edition Nike shirt created to celebrate the Year of the Horse.

The Nike Tottenham Hotspur FC 2026 Chinese New Year pre-match football shirt comes in a deep navy base color combined with gold logos and detailing, giving the shirt a premium festive appearance.

The front prominently features the sponsor and Swoosh in metallic gold, while the back showcases a large tonal silhouette of the club crest, subtly integrated into the fabric.

A standout design feature is the intricate traditional line-drawing artwork spread across the shirt. Inspired by classical East Asian illustration techniques, the flowing line patterns resemble the mane of a horse in full sprint, symbolising speed, vitality, and forward momentum-key attributes associated with the Year of the Horse.

The design was created by Shanghai-based artist Luna, whose work frequently explores themes of nature, mythology, and wildlife symbolism.

Hidden throughout the graphic are four subtle easter eggs referencing the club’s heritage, including outlines representing the THFC monogram, the “N17” postcode, a European trophy, and a football, each quietly embedded into the pattern. The shirt also features a QR code element linking to exclusive digital content.
