2026 World Cup TV Scoreboard Revealed

Update - Apr 5, 2026: The 2026 World Cup scoreboard we shared some days ago is indeed the official one. It has been created by French design studio Nervakez Motion. The designer shared two videos of his World Cup TV broadcast presentation already six weeks ago, giving us a look at the most important elements of the visual.

For the 2026 World Cup TV design, FIFA is fully committing to the vibrant, multi-colored brand identity they introduced with the "We Are 26" campaign.

• Vibrant Drop Shadows: The classic dark, pill-shaped scoreboard is heavily accented by bright, offset drop shadows in coral, turquoise, purple, and lime green. These colors directly match the official tournament branding palette
• Central 2026 Logo: The highly debated official FIFA 26 logo (featuring the stacked '26' and the World Cup trophy) sits proudly in the center
• Kit Color Indicators: Small circles sit next to the national flags to indicate which kit colors the teams are currently wearing on the pitch (light blue for France, dark grey/black for Senegal in this example)
• Modern, Flat UI: The typography and layout are flat, modern, and easily readable, moving away from glossy or 3D effects

2026 World Cup Playoff Scoreboard

Another scoreboard could be seen during the official FIFA 2026 World Cup playoff games. This was used for the playoffs only.
