The new Adidas FC Köln 26-27 fourth football shirt will feature a very unusual and elegant wine-red primary color. According to the leaked info, the design and color palette are directly inspired by the official uniform of the Willi Ostermann Society and the famous jester's cap (Narrenkappe) worn by Ostermann himself.
This Köln 26-27 fourth kit is being released to honor a massive milestone: 2026 marks both the 150th birthday and the 90th anniversary of the passing of Willi Ostermann, one of Cologne's greatest local artists. The kit has been developed in close cooperation with the Willi Ostermann Society to ensure a faithful and respectful tribute.
Interestingly, this wine-red jersey will serve as a "replacement" for the club's traditional Carnival kit, which will reportedly not be released during Adidas' debut 2026-2027 season.
