Based on the official mockups released by FIFA, the traditional walkout is getting a massive, theatrical upgrade. The governing body describes it as a "fan-centric" and "360-degree concept" that turns the entire pitch into a shared stage.
The most striking visual additions are the absolutely colossal elements that will cover the grass before the match begins:
- Giant National Flags: Two extra-large banners representing the competing nations will be unrolled, covering the vast majority of both halves of the pitch.
- Center Circle Banner: A large, circular FIFA World Cup 2026 banner will cover the center circle, serving as the focal point for the tournament.
- Pyrotechnics: To add to the sheer grandeur of the moment, massive fireworks and pyrotechnic displays will erupt from behind the goals and along the touchlines, color-coordinated with the competing nations.
Additionally, players will now enter the pitch through a dedicated, custom-branded arch located closest to their respective tunnels, accompanied by youth program escorts. The entire visual spectacle will be guided by tracks from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album.

Asteras Tripolis 26-27 Kits Released
Greek Super League club Asteras Tripolis (officially known as Asteras AKTOR for sponsorship reasons) has unveiled its new 26-27 home and away kits. The new strips are manufactured by Nike in a continued partnership with Intersport.
The Nike Asteras Tripolis 26-27 kits are based on Nike teamwear templates. The home kit is yellow and blue based on the Precision VII model, while the away kit is navy blue with thin yellow/gray stripes, based on Nike's custom mid-tier model.
In addition to the standard home and away options, the club has announced that a special third kit for the 26-27 season will follow shortly. This upcoming third jersey is designed to highlight Asteras Tripolis's long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and is expected to be officially revealed in the coming days.
