However, the launch has quickly stirred up disappointment among fans. Nike has come under fire for delivering a home kit design that is completely identical to another recent release.

The main source of frustration for supporters is that this exact stripe pattern is an identical copy-paste design of the newly launched Besiktas 26-27 away kit, simply swapped into red and white. Both kits draw direct inspiration from the iconic Nike Barcelona 2011-12 home kit template.
The back of the jersey is predominantly solid red across the top and shoulders, with the striped pattern returning on the lower section. A small white griffin from the club crest is placed on the upper back neck.

To contrast against the dark gradient base, all branding on the front is executed in clean white. This includes a monochrome white SC Freiburg crest and a white Nike Swoosh.
