  • Castore's Return to Rangers Kits: Rangers are set to revert to Castore branding on their kits starting from the 2027-28 season, following two seasons under a temporary Umbro arrangement.
  • Temporary Umbro Sub-licensing Deal: The club featured Umbro branding for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 campaigns as part of an exclusive sub-licensing deal that allowed Castore to manufacture and distribute Umbro-branded kits, which was never intended to be permanent.
  • Long-Term Contract with Castore Until 2030: Rangers' contract with Castore runs until 2030, and the return of Castore logos to the first-team kits from the 27-28 season will mark the final three-year run of this long-term deal.

Rangers are set to see the Castore wings return to their kits in the near future. Following two seasons featuring Umbro's iconic double diamond on the front of the shirts, the Glasgow club will revert to Castore branding from the 2027-28 season onward.

Castore to Replace Umbro on Rangers Kits

Rangers originally signed a landmark partnership with Castore in 2020. Ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, the club switched branding to Umbro under an exclusive sub-licensing deal that allows Castore to manufacture and distribute Umbro-branded kits for select professional clubs. While this arrangement saw classic double diamonds across the 25-26 and 26-27 kits, the transition was never intended to be permanent.

During a recent fan engagement meeting, the club confirmed that their contract with Castore runs until 2030 and will be completed as planned. As part of the ongoing agreement, Castore logos are scheduled to return directly to Rangers' first-team match kits starting with the 27-28 campaign, marking a three-year run of Castore-branded jerseys to conclude the long-term deal.
