The Nike Chelsea 27-28 home jersey uses 'Bright Blue' as its primary base, retaining the vibrant blue shade seen on the 2026-27 home kit. What sets the Chelsea Football Club 2027-2028 home shirt apart, color-wise, is the reintroduction of gold detailing, officially dubbed 'Mead Gold' - a refined, lighter shade of gold.
The Chelsea 2027-28 home shirt marks 15 years since Chelsea last wore gold on their home shirt, following the 2012-13 season under Adidas, and earlier during the memorable 2005-06 centenary campaign by Umbro.
Nike again uses the standalone Lion crest instead of the full traditional club roundel, applying both the iconic lion and the Swoosh in Mead Gold across the chest. Both the Swoosh and the lion crest are placed in the center.
