The design pays tribute to the richly decorated 19th-century room, named after Antwerp artist Henri Leys, known for its ornate ceiling work, historical portraits, and refined architectural details. These ceiling patterns have been reinterpreted into the fabric design of the new kit, giving it a classical and elegant visual identity.

The colour scheme of off-white and maroon gold reflects the club’s deep connection to the city of Antwerp. Adding a subtle historical touch, a red-and-white coat of arms - also found within the Leys Hall - has been placed beneath the collar as a nod to the city’s heritage.
