The new Umbro UX-1 2014 Football Boot was released today - In the last days, the Double Diamond teased the release of the new Umbro UX1 Boot silo, which is expected to replace the Umbro Geometra II Football Boot. A few weeks ahead of the 2014 World Cup, Umbro is set to release the totally new Control silo called Umbro UX1. The Umbro UX-1 Boot features the upper material Armor-Tex, which is ten times stronger than steel.

While Adidas cancelled the release of the Adidas Nitrocharge Kevlar Boot because of problems with the Kevlar upper material, Umbro will unveil the UX1 Boot with an actually stronger material than the Nitrocharge Kevlar. That makes the Umbro UX1 Boot the strongest football boot ever.

The new Umbro UX-1 Boot will weight 280 grams, a bit heavier than the Umbro Geometra II Boot. The forefoot area of the UX1 boot features rubber elements to offer a better touch and control.

The Umbro UX-1 release colorway is mainly purple with a yellow Double Diamond logo on the upper. The purple inner side of the boot is made for more accuracy. The TPU outsole is designed for a better traction on firm grounds.
