New Nike FootballX Boots Launched

The new NikeFootballX Boots are designed for small-sided games, featuring the totally new MagistaX and MercurialX Football Shoes.

Both boots carry an 'X' as a nod to the combined number of players in a game of five-a-side.

Based on the Nike Magista Obra Soccer Cleats, the new Nike Magista X Indoor and Turf Shoes feature a responsive Lunarlon midsole and will be available as IC (Indoor Court) and TF (Turf) version.

“NikeFootballX merges Nike's pinnacle boot technology with design elements unique to small-sided football,” says Max Blau, VP Nike Football Footwear. “We’ve met with small-sided players all over the world and they want the same performance benefits Magista and Mercurial provide, but with outsoles and colorways unique to their game.”

Based on the Nike Elastico Superfly and Nike Mercurial Superfly Football Boots, the new Nike MercurialX is designed for speed on small-sided surfaces. Read more about the new Nike MercurialX Boots.

Both boots feature a "Street" stealth colorway with a reflective graphic pattern to stand out on the pitch.

With the new Nike FootballX Boots, Nike heralds the end of the popular Nike FC247 Collection. Nike will stop making the famous Lunargato, Elastico and Bomba Indoor, Street and Turf Boots.

The new NikeFootballX Soccer Boots will be available from April 1st 2015 at selected retailers, while no retail price was announced yet.
