Update - Friday, May 29, 2026: All 48 teams of the 2026 World Cup have finally released their new kits. We have updated the 2026 World Cup Kit Overview with all the kits. We also added the third kits of those teams who got one.
2026 World Cup Kits
The initial wave of 2026 World Cup football kit releases came in November/early December 2025, when Adidas and Puma unveiled new home shirts for their national teams. Nike, along with Adidas' and Puma's away kits, followed in March/April 2026, while several smaller nations just released their new kits in May 2026.
For the last big tournament as Germany's supplier, Adidas updates Germany’s home shirt with a look inspired by 1990 and 2014 (when Germany won the World Cup the last two times), while Argentina unites the three different shades of blue from their World Cup wins into one shirt.
Brazil and Mexico scrapped their initial kits after fans' reaction to leaks
Two teams changed their kits after fan protests, showcasing that football kit interest has never been higher than in these times - Brazil (wanted to release a red Jordan kit instead of the traditional colors) and Mexico (the first leak was not well received, so Adidas changed the design - the new design is not popular as well, however).
