Made for ultimate control, the next-gen Adidas Ace 16.1 Football Boots are reported to be launched in February 2016. Even though no high-profile player has been spotted wearing a blackout prototype of the second-generation of the Adidas Ace Cleats yet, it should be only a matter of time until we see the first players training in the next-generation Adidas Ace Cleats.

Blackout Adidas Ace 2016 Prototype Cleats

This is the black-out Adidas Ace 16.1 Prototype Boot.

Although the blackout boot is designed to hide the design of the next-gen Adidas Ace Cleats, we can already see the first tech details of the second-generation Adidas Ace Boots.

The new Adidas Ace 2016 Boots will introduce a totally new upper design for the Adidas Control silo. The famous Three Stripes on the upper are wider, and remind us of the iconic design of the Adidas Predator Accelerator 1998 World Cup Cleats - worn by players such as Zinédine Zidane. The new Three Stripes design will make a bold statement on the pitch.

The upper of the new black-out Adidas Ace 16.1 Boots features an all-over upper structure, made for unrivalled ball control. It seems that Adidas will remove the external heel for the next-gen Adidas Ace 2016 Boots, which is a key feature of the Adidas Ace 15.1 Boots. The external heel counter of the Adidas Ace Cleats is made for more stability.

The outsole of the new Adidas Ace 2016 Prototype Soccer Boots is expected to be the same used for the first generation. The remarkable design of the outsole consists of numerous conical studs for better ball control.

So it's very likely that we have already seen the second-generation of the Adidas Ace Boots. What do you think of the design of the next-gen Adidas Ace 2016 Football Boots? Drop us a line below.

Galatasaray 26-27 Kit Launch Delayed - Coming July 2026

Galatasaray's 2026-27 kit launch faces a potential delay, pushing the release date back to July. Initially, reports from kit insider @Formaholic indicated that the club had advanced the presentation to June 25. However, recent updates suggest that the launch will likely revert to its original July timeframe.

The delay is reportedly due to logistical issues, specifically concerning the readiness of the new kit fonts and the club's desire to have players participate in the launch event. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Galatasaray would be moving away from the standard Arial font. The new typeface is expected to be similar to the one featured on a recent special Leroy Sane kit.
