Green Nike Hypervenom 2 Not Available In The USA, Orange Nike Hypervenom 2 Not Available In Europe

This is anything but usual. The new Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Lightning Storm Pack Boots were launched in two striking colorways, but one paint job is not available to purchase in the United States and Europe yet, respectively. So what's going on here?

On July 17, Nike released the totally new Nike Lightning Storm Soccer Cleats Collection for the 2015-16 season. The US-giant revealed new paint jobs for the Hypervenom, Magista, Mercurial and Tiempo, which feature the striking colors of the Wolf Grey Nike Boots Pack. However, the Nike Hypervenom 2 Cleat was also released in a totally new green colorway.

Ready to run and buy? You'll have to use your passport if you want to buy the new Green Strike Nike Hypervenom 2 Football Boots if you're from the United States. And if you're from Europe, it's not possible to purchase the striking orange Nike Hypervenom II Boots yet - it's a strange situation.

Nike Soccer (USA) announced on Twitter that the new Nike Lightning Storm Pack is available from Nike.com, while they didn't include the Green Strike Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boot. In contrast to @NikeStoreEurope, who showcased the green Nike Hypervenom but not the orange Nike Hypervenom Cleats yet.

Footy Headlines reader @Sambuscus0 asked @Nikefootball on Twitter about the green Nike Hypervenom Boots and received the following answer:

However, the press release reads. "The Nike Lightning Storm collection will be available July 19 on Nike.com. The green Hypervenom II will be available July 21 in the Nike Football App and July 23 on Nike.com."

So it's possible that the green Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots will be available in the United States from July 23, and that the orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots will be available in Europe from the same date.
