Update: A few hours ago, AS Roma officially unveiled their new 2025–26 home kit, including the authentic version featuring Heat.Rdy technology. This confirms that Roma has officially become an elite Adidas team starting from the 2025–26 season.
AS Roma to Become Adidas Elite Team
AS Roma's previous tier was B Premium. Adidas will upgrade AS Roma to Tier A, which means they will become an (local) elite team. As an elite team, AS Roma will receive authentic kits (Heat.Rdy technology), as well as the Trefoil logo on the third jersey, an elite club's privilege.
AS Roma joins Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Celtic, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United as European Elite Teams.
Footy Headlines doesn't yet know whether AS Roma's exact ranking will be A- or A, but we can confirm that they will have an authentic kit and a Trefoil logo on their third shirt.
