Matić is back with Adidas. Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has officially switched to the Three Stripes after he had worn Puma Boots for two years.
Nemanja Matić already had worn Adidas Boots until early August 2013, while he switched to Puma evoSPEED Soccer Cleats in mid-August 2013. After Matić rejoined Chelsea in January 2014, the Serbia international switched to the Puma evoPOWER Football Boots.

Nemanja Matic already laced up in the synthetic version of the Adidas Ace Boots in Chelsea's last pre-season friendly against Fiorentina on August 5, while he switched back to the Puma evoPOWER Boots in Chelsea's first Premier League match against Swansea on August 8.
Adidas officially announced that Nemanja Matic has joined the 3 Stripes on August 15. Interestingly, it is exactly two years ago since Matic switched from Adidas boots to Puma Boots as Benfica player.
While Nemanja Matic showcased the synthetic version of the Adidas Ace 15.1 2015-2016 Football Boots on Adidas' promo images, he laced up in the Kangaroo leather version of the Adidas Ace Boots against Manchester City on August 16. Matic wore a non-modified version of the Adidas Ace 15.1 Leather Football Boots.
Matic x Adidas. It will be quite interesting to see if Nemanja Matić will receive a modified version of the Adidas Ace 2015-2016 Boots in the coming weeks featuring a re-designed sole plate, similar to James Rodríguez, Mesut Özil, Manuel Neuer and Phillip Lahm.
