Adidas has posted a tribute to Lionel Messi’s 20-year partnership with the brand, marking the path from his first FIFA World Cup boots in 2006 to his sixth pair ahead of this summer’s tournament. The message frames the upcoming event as Messi’s “último tango,” inviting fans to join the experience with the Argentina national team as the world watches his potential final World Cup appearance.

This campaign continues Adidas’s long collaboration with Messi, emphasizing both performance innovation and the emotional weight of what could be his last dance on football’s biggest stage.

The post aligns with prior reports naming the signature Adidas F50 boots ‘El Último Tango,’ a white-based design with gold and sky blue accents drawn from Argentine colors. The boots are set for an official launch in early June 2026, just weeks before the tournament begins.
