Thiago Alcantara Cuts Off Dynamic Fit Collar of Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots

FC Bayern Munich midfielder has become the next player to cut off the trademark Dynamic Fit collar of the orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Soccer Cleats.

Thiago Alcantara joins players such as Real Madrid midfielders Isco and Kovacic as well as Arturo Vidal, who also cut off the iconic sock of their high-top Nike Soccer Boots recently.

Based on the orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Lightning Storm Pack Boots, the custom Thiago Alcántara Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots feature almost no collar, but a traditional low-cut boot design.

Even though the striking outsole design of the next-gen Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Boots hides the stud configuration of Thiago Alcántara's Cleats, it's known that the Spain international uses a custom sole plate. Thiago's sole plate is quite similar to the sole plate of the Nike Tiempo Legend IV Boots.

Thiago Alcántara already debuted the cut-off Nike Hypervenom Phantom Boots in the first Bundesliga match of the season against Hamburg 10 days ago.

Isco, Thiago Alcántara, Arturo Vidal, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Mateo Kovacic. The list of players wearing a lower collar is long. What do you think of Nike's problem with the Dynamic Fit collar? Let us know in the comments below.
