Gerard Piqué Trains in Next-Gen Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Prototype Boots

FC Barcelona superstar Gerard Pique has become the next player to train in a blackout version of the next-generation Nike Tiempo Legend VI Cleats, joining Real Madrid defenders Raphaël Varane and Dani Carvajal.

While Neymar made the headlines in yesterday's FC Barcelona training session wearing the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots, it almost remained unnoticed that Pique and Bartra laced up in the next-gen Tiempo.

Gerard Piqué laced up in a non-modified version of the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Prototype Soccer Cleats featuring a stealth look to hide the final boot design.

However, as various images of the White, Black and Orange launch colorway of the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots have been leaked already, almost all tech details are known yet.

The next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots introduce a new xray support skeleton in the upper, removing the classical seams of previous Nike Tiempo Legend Cleats. Made for ultimate comfort and control, the upper will be made from super soft Kangaroo leather, while Nike also developed a new external heel counter for additional stability. The sole plate remains the same.

It was certainly a pleasure for Gerard Pique wearing blackout boots as the Spanish defender has been concerned about the striking Nike Tiempo Legend V Boot Colorways, a topic that he brought up on social media channels some months ago ("Where are the iconic black boots of a lifetime?").

It won't take much longer. Will you get your hands on the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots when they are released in mid-December 2015? Let us know in the comments below.
