Xavi x Al Sadd Kit | An Unfamiliar Look
FC Barcelona legend Xavi made his Qatar Stars League debut in Sunday's clash against Al Mesaimeer. And while the Spanish midfielder enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win and it took him just 9 minutes to get his first league assist, it was the unfamiliar look of Xavi in Al Sadd's Jersey that caught our attention.
Xavi Hernández had been playing for FC Barcelona for his whole career. He joined FC Barcelona's famous youth academy La Masia at the age of 11 and made his first-team debut against Mallorca in August 1998. Until yesterday, he never wore another jersey than FC Barcelona's kit in any official club match.
Xavi Makes Al Sadd Debut
Xavi x Al Sadd Kit.
Made by Burrda, the Al Sadd 2015 Home Kit combines the traditional club colors white and black with a remarkable stripe on the front, which was also used for the Belgium 2014 World Cup Home and Away Kits. It has a simple crew neck collar and is complemented with white shorts and socks.
Xavi laced up in his unique Adidas Predator Football Boots, which were released in May 2015 to celebrate a career of winning. Limited to 17 pairs worldwide and not available to purchase, the Adidas Xavi Hernández Cleats boast the colors of the Spanish flag with an one-of-a-kind upper graphic to make a bold statement.
