Urban Lilac Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Boots Released
The Urban Lilac Nike Mercurial Soccer Boots bring a stunning look to the Nike Mercurial Superfly, officially released on 23 November 2015.
Nike players such as Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez, Marcos Rojo and Kevin De Bruyne will start to wear the purple Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots from this. Nike also unveiled the low-cut Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots in the same paint job.

Created to stand out on the pitch, the Urban Lilac Nike Mercurial Superfly Soccer Boots introduce a striking purple metallic upper design for the Nike Mercurial Superfly. Black accents are present on the purple Nike Mercurial Superfly Football Boot in the form of the iconic Swoosh, the soleplate and the Dynamic Fit collar.
Bright Mango is used for the inside of the rear studs of the lilac Nike Mercurial Boots, as well as for the trim of the high collar.
Concerning technologies, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Boots feature the revolutionary Flyknit upper it's renowned for, optimizing lockdown and stability through additional Flywire strings on the sides. The soleplate boasts a set of of conical spikes for improved acceleration.
Set to be available from 2 December 2015, the lilac Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleats retail at 275 Euro (275 USD, 230 GBP).

Update - Sunday, June 7, 2026: As spotted Indonesian jersey experts @Jerseyforum, Adidas teams with the same design also share the product. In particular, they do not have the usual Team + Shirt Type Name (e.g. FCB A 26 JSY), but are called Custom Licensed Jersey (CULIC26 JSY).
Templates are not as common as they were in the past, but smaller Adidas teams still do not have custom designs always. In the outgoing 25-26 season, teams such as Düsseldorf, Al Ahly, and Sparta Praha all used the same Locker Room design with custom colors.

USA Wear Special Rainbow Numbers Against Germany
The United States men's national soccer team wore special rainbow-colored namesets during their friendly match against Germany on June 6, 2026, in support of Pride Month. The unique multicolored design was applied exclusively to the names and numbers on the back of the players' jerseys, while the front of the kits retained their standard gray appearance.
The USA Women's Team also used the Pride numbers in the friendly match against 2027 Women's World Cup hosts Brazil in São Paulo where they were defeated 2-1.
