He definitely got a good taste. Assou-Ekotto has yet again shown that he loves the Adidas Predator, even though Adidas discontinued their iconic silo on year ago. The Saint-Etienne defender laced up in pair of the Adidas Adipower Predator Cleats in last weekend's Ligue 1 match against Stade de Reims after he already wore the original version of the white Adidas Predator Mania Boots two weeks ago.
Update 24/11/15: Assou-Ekotto again laced up in the Adidas Adipower Predator Boots in Saint-Etienne's last Ligue 1 match. And while he previously opted for the white, blue and orange colorway of the boots, he has chosen the still-iconic black and orange colorway of the Adidas Predator Adipower Boots this time.
Released in May 2011, the Adidas Predator Adipower Football Boots are made for ultimate power while featuring a super soft Taurus full grain calf leather for a glove-like fit. Players such as Kaka, Nani and Robin van Persie originally headlined the Adidas Predator Adipower Football Boots.

Assou-Ekotto laced up in a non-modified version of the White, Cyan, Black and Warning Colorway of the Adidas Adipower Predator Boots, which were revealed in late November 2011. However, he swapped the laces of his boots to make an even bolder statement on the pitch.
It will be utterly interesting to see in which boots Assou-Ekotto will lace up in tomorrow's match against Olympique Lyonnais.
