Closer Look | 2015-16 Premier League Poppy Kits
Last weekend marked Remembrance Sunday, a day to "commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts". Therefore, 19 Premier League clubs wore poppies on their kits, while there was also a minute of silence ahead of each match. We take a closer look at the poppies seen on this season's Premier League Shirts.

While most Premier League clubs sported a version of the Poppy with the lettering 'Football Remembers', clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United opted for a version without a slogan.
Interestingly, Southampton FC was the only club which kits featured no Poppy, while the positioning of the Poppy on Tottenham's Kit was likely the most eye-catching one.
Like last year, signed shirts with poppies will be auctioned off for the Royal British Legion.
"We are incredibly grateful for the support that the football community show the Poppy Appeal year on year," the Royal British Legion's director of fundraising Charles Byrne said.
"The Legion's work is entirely dependent on the public's generous support - so please wear your poppy with pride, knowing that you are helping the Armed Forces community to live on."
