All-new Adidas Messi PureAgility 2016 Boots Leaked

Adidas is set to reveal an all-new top model for FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi - the Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility. And even though there are no leaked pictures of the boots yet, Messi himself already gave us the first look at the totally new boots in Barcelona's training session two months ago.

In late September 2015, Lionel Messi surprisingly laced up in a never-seen-before blackout boot featuring a revolutionary design with remarkable short laces. And while it was pure speculation at that time what exactly Lionel Messi was wearing, we have now gathered the first official info about the all-new Messi Boots for the 2016-2017 season.

Boasting an almost laceless design, the Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility Boots feature a synthetic upper with a remarkable structure in the forefoot area for better ball control, and a high-ankle collar concept for a sock-like fit with no distractions. In fact, the Adidas Messi 2016 PureAgility Cleats have many things in common with the revolutionary laceless Adidas Boot that was already revealed in early November 2015. However, whereas the first-ever laceless Adidas boot comes with a knitted upper, the Adidas Messi 2016 PureAgility Cleat features a synthetic upper material.

Unfortunately, the training pictures of Lionel Messi's all new PureAgility Boots give us no look at the sole plate of the cleats. However, it's almost certain that the Adidas Messi 2016 PureAgility Boots will feature a stud pattern for agility and speed, similar to the Adidas Messi 15.1 Boots.

The Adidas Messi PureAgility Boots will be the new top model of the Adidas Messi 2016-2017 range, which is set to be launched in Summer 2016. The Adidas Messi PureAgility Cleats will be much more expensive than the current top model of the Adidas Messi range, which retails at 200 USD (200 Euro, 160 GBP).
