Messi Trains in Revolutionary Next-Gen Adidas Messi 2016 Prototype Boots
Is this the revolution we all waited for? FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi laced up in a never-seen-before Adidas 2016 Prototype Soccer Cleat in today's FC Barcelona training session, which finished this morning.
In May 2015, Adidas revealed the Adidas Messi 15.1 Football Boots. Exclusively made for four-time FIFA Ballon d'Or winner Leo Messi, the Adidas Messi 15.1 Football Boots introduced an all-new upper with a revolutionary support cage in the midfoot area for ultimate stability. But now let's get into the all-new blackout Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Prototype Boots.

The new Adidas Messi 2016 Prototype Football Boots feature a stealth, blackout look to hide the final design of the never-seen-before boots. However, the first pictures of Messi' Blackout boots already reveal various revolutionary features.
The next-gen Adidas Messi 2016 Boots bring the high-cut collar to the Adidas Messi Boots after the first generation featured a traditional low-cut design. The techfit collar of the next-gen Adidas Messi 2016 Cleats is made for a sock-like fit, similar to Nike's Dynamic Fit collar concept.
The second generation of the Adidas Messi 2016 Prototype Soccer Boots combines the sock-like design with an unbelievable short tongue, which could change the design of football boots forever. It's a revolutionary feature that we haven't seen anytime before.
It's certain that the almost tongue-less design is made for a much cleaner kicking surface than current boots can offer. While a few brands removed or covered the laces a few years ago, all present football boots feature a traditional lacing system.
The one-piece upper of the Adidas Messi 16.1 Prototype Boots seems to be extremely soft and flexible and has a similar structure as the current generation of the Adidas Messi Cleats.

Hammarby 2026 European Kit Released
Swedish Allsvenskan side Hammarby IF has officially unveiled its new 2026 European kit. Produced by sportswear brand Craft, the jersey will be worn during the club's upcoming UEFA Europa League qualification campaign.
The launch of the European shirt follows the release of the club's regular 2026 home and away kits earlier in March, which feature a subtle jacquard pattern inspired by the waves of the Hammarby Sjö waterway. The new European jersey completes Hammarby's extensive wardrobe for the 2026 season, joining the dedicated Cup kit that was introduced in February.
The Hammarby IF 2026 European kit by Craft is available to purchase through the club's official retail channels and their partner Intersport.
