Uhlsport to Become New Ligue 1 Ball Supplier
German sports manufacturer Uhlsport will become the new ball supplier of the French Ligue 1 from the 2017-2018 season, LFP announced yesterday. Uhlsport replaces previous ball supplier Adidas.
Uhlsport to Produce Ligue 1 Ball From 2017-2018 Campaign
Uhlsport previously already made the official ball for the Ligue 2.
LFP (Ligue de Football Professional) announced that Uhlsport will produce the official ball for the Ligue 1 from the 2017-18 until 2021-22. Even no no further contract details were disclosed yet, it is rumored that the small German brand Uhlsport bid €1.2m / season, whereas Adidas just bid €0.5m to become the official match ball supplier of the first French division.
