Adidas 'History Pack' Goalkeeper Gloves Released

Adidas today revealed a special goalkeeper gloves collection to pay homage to three goalkeeping legends of the past. The new Adidas 'History Pack' is set to be debuted by Manuel Neuer, Iker Casillas and Petr Cech in this week's UEFA Champions League matches.

Casillas, Cech and Neuer will not only debut the classy Adidas History Pack Keeper Gloves, all three were also involved in selecting the historic glove designs.

Casillas, Cech, and Neuer were each involved in selecting the historic glove designs to be reimagined by Adidas. The players chose based on each glove's historic significance within goalkeeping, and the stunning retro design of the gloves.

The Adidas History Pack Goalkeeper Gloves use the technologies of the Adidas Ace Zones Pro Keeper Gloves. So we get straight into the three unique designs of the Adidas History Pack Goalkeeper Gloves.

Adidas 'History Pack' 1982 World Cup Edition

This is the glove that pays homage to the gloves worn by Germany’s Toni Schumacher.

Inspired by the Adidas 1982 Goalkeeper Gloves, the Adidas 'History Pack' 1982 World Cup Remake boasts a remarkable black and white look. Adidas breaks up the black and white look with striking red applications. Porto's Iker Casillas will wear the remakes of the 1982 Keeper Gloves.

Adidas 'History Pack' 1997 Kahn Edition

This is the Adidas 'History Pack' Oliver Kahn Edition.

Drawing inspiration from the gloves worn by Germany's legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn, the new Adidas 'History Pack' 1997 Remake Goalkeeper Gloves boast a classy design with remarkable bold Three Stripes. It's only logical that Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will wear the gloves that celebrate Bayern München's legend Oliver Kahn.

Adidas 'History Pack' 1998 World Cup Edition

This is the Adidas 'History Pack' 1998 World Cup Edition.

The last design pays homage to the World Cup winning gloves used by France's Fabien Barthez in the 1998 World Cup. Set to be worn by Arsenal's Petr Cech in the crucial Champions League match against Olympiacos, the Adidas 1998 World Cup Edition again mirrors the design of the original gloves while including the year when they became famous.

1400 pairs of the Adidas 'History Pack' Goalkeeper Gloves are available from today at selected retailers for a significantly higher price (160 USD) than the Adidas Ace Zones Pro Keeper Gloves (115 USD).

T90-Inspired Nike Barclays WSL 26-27 Ball Released

Nike and the Women's Super League have officially revealed the official match ball for the 26-27 Barclays WSL and WSL2 seasons. Built on Nike's Control ball model, the design draws heavy inspiration from Nike's iconic Total 90 era, bringing a retro-infused visual identity to top-tier English women's football.

The design features vibrant multi-coloured rings and graphic lines in red, pink, blue, and black against a white base. These accents are arranged to create a subtle strobe effect when spinning in flight, aiding visibility for players on the pitch. The Barclays WSL version features a gold Nike Swoosh inside the signature circular ring, while the WSL2 edition showcases a silver Swoosh paired with bright pink detailing.

Underneath the graphics, the ball utilizes Nike Control technology with debossed grooves and engineered paneling designed to deliver stable aerodynamics and consistent touch in all conditions. The new ball will be used across all 26-27 WSL, WSL2, and domestic cup matches.
