All-New Umbro Medusae 2016 Football Boots Released
Umbro today unveiled an all-new soccer cleat, the Umbro Medusae, following on the release of the second-generation Umbro Velocita football boots last month.
In addition to the Speciali, Velocita and UX football boots, the new Umbro Medusae is marketed as a control boot, a long missing piece in the brand's lineup. USA midfielder Mix Diskerud has been chosen to be the face of the Umbro Medusae soccer boots.
Umbro Medusae Pro - Deep Cobalt / White / Fiery Coral / Sulphur
This is the totally new Umbro Medusae football boot in the "Deep Cobalt" colorway.
For the first-ever release of the all-new Umbro Medusae soccer cleats, Umbro has opted for a "Deep Cobalt / White / Fiery Coral / Sulphur" colorway. This array of colors translates in a strongly color-blocking and very down-to-earth look.
The front leather part of the new Umbro Medusae boot is of striking red color, while the rear, laces and tongue are navy. Yellow accents are present in the form of the lower part of the studs and the lateral cage, while all brandings are white.
Concerning technology, the sole plate appears to be identical to that of the Umbro Velocita. As for the upper of the new Umbro Medusae boot, it's split between a leather part at the front and a synthetic, strengthened construction along the side and heel. The tongue shows a pretty standard design and is not offset towards either side.
Available from today, February 15, 2016, the new Umbro Medusae soccer boots retail at the same price of the Velocita, which is 130 GBP (165 Euro).
