The new Nike Air Max Mercurial R9 sneakers boast an interesting design in grey, black and blue, roughly inspired by the iconic Nike Mercurial soccer cleats worn by Ronaldo at the 1998 World Cup.

This is the new Nike Air Max R9 sneaker in grey and blue.

The new Nike Air Max Mercurial R9 sneaker has a light grey upper, while the unique Mercurial-inspired pattern is black. Like with all other colorways of the new Nike silhouette, the Air Max outsole is completely white, while the Nike brandings and Swooshes on the upper are colored in blue here.

Set to retail around the $100 mark, the grey Nike Air Max Mercurial R9 sneaker are expected to be launched in summer 2016.
